This entry level simulator still gives you access to both COE trucks and longnose versions plus a huge range to trailers with single, B Double, Triple options.
The standard sim wheelbase is a direct drive unit that gives us the ability to change the degrees of rotation which means if your trucks run a 3 1/2 turn from full left to full right, we match exactly that in the sim.
The triple screens gives you a good view of the side mirrors for watching lane placement but you can also put virtual mirrors up on the corners of the screen as an added assist.
While driving, and especially for reversing, you can do a quick exit of the cab into a drone view and look around from above, check positioning of truck and trailers, then jump back in and keep backing up. This can be done every few feet just to practice what happens to the unit while reversing, this is especially helpful on a B Double setup.
We will install both a auto shifter and a full 18 speed Roadranger shifter to the unit.
The seat is a real truck seat with arm rests.
Software – we run Euro Truck Simulator for driving COE trucks in the UK with local back roads and highways or we run American Truck Simulator but use this with an Aussie map we have purchased and drive in SEQ using a RHD Mack Superliner or a Kenworth W900.
If you need to train with civil trucks like tippers, moxy, heavy duty Haul trucks, we can also do this with Farming Simulator 22 and 25, and have access to an online server where you can be on a map with others and have Excavators or loaders load your truck and work in a team.
This video is a remote area (in Iceland) where the truck and a B Double must get through some narrow passes up in the mountains. This is in ETS2 using a Kenworth W900 running an 18 speed auto box.
Here we have a cab over truck and B Double reversing into a bit of a tight spot. I am using my outside view a lot just to check my positioning with trailers (not an expert at all)
This is our custom Aussie Outback map with a RHD Mack Superliner towing a flat deck B Double loaded with timber. Some easy and also hard stretches of road. Based in SEQ around Cooladdi.
